We want everyone to be able to use this website: to find out what we do, read about it, and reach us. If any of it gets in your way, call us at (925) 228-1010 and we will help you by phone.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most often used for websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we check
We test the whole site against WCAG 2.2 Levels A and AA, with automated tools and by hand, on phones and on computers. We last did so on October 7, 2026. We check that:
- Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, shows clearly which one has focus, and is never hidden behind the header.
- Text has enough contrast with what is behind it, including on photos, and stays readable when you widen its spacing or zoom in.
- Pages fit a small phone screen without scrolling sideways, and buttons are big enough to tap.
- Pictures that carry meaning are described for screen readers, and form fields say what they need, which ones are required, and what went wrong.
- Pages work with JavaScript turned off, and nothing starts moving if your device asks for reduced motion.
Video and moving content
The video and the moving row of client logos at the top of the home page start on their own. The Pause button beside the video’s Sound button stops both. Under the video, “Video description” says in words what it shows.
Other companies’ content
Some of what appears here comes from other companies — Google reviews, Google’s address suggestions and reCAPTCHA on our forms, and our Instagram posts when they are shown — and the city websites and other pages we link to are their owners’. We choose and present these as accessibly as we can, but we cannot change how they work.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site doesn’t work for you, tell us which page it was and what happened, and we will fix what we can and help you in the meantime.
